About the event

2,000 adventurers of all experience levels and ages will take on a classic capital to coast route, testing their grit over the bank holiday weekend.

A Richmond start by the Thames, then head through the North Downs and wonderful Surrey and Sussex countryside to halfway at Turners Hill.

The 100km route heads up and over the South Downs before the welcome sight of the Brighton coastline comes in to view

Sign up and Funding options

Charity Sponsorship

You pay a small registration fee, do lots of fundraising and we cover the cost of your event place. As we are an official Charity Partner, you get 25% off the standard registration fee when you use code MIND2021.

We will need to receive 50% of your fundraising six weeks before the challenge to secure your place on the event.

Mixed Funding

Pay half of the event place cost yourself, fundraise a bit less and we pay the balance of the event place cost. 

We will need to receive 50% of your fundraising six weeks before the challenge to secure your place on the event.

Self fund

You pay the full cost of the event place, fundraise whatever you want with no set target or deadline, and there's no cost at all to us at Mind!

How we'll support you

As well as the hospitality you will receive from our event organisers Action Challenge, here at Mind we also offer all our walkers, joggers and runners a fantastic support package, which includes the following:

  • Loads of training and fundraising advice, with regular email updates.
  • A Mind running vest.
  • A dedicated and experienced event coordinator who will provide information and support in the run-up to your event.
