Open challenge - various dates

This is known as the “roof of Africa” trek since it takes you to the summit of magnificent Mount Kilimanjaro, the world’s highest free-standing mountain.

You will begin your adventure in the rainforest of the Lemosho Glades and spend 6 days acclimatising as you trek though the dramatic and varied landscape of Mount Kilimanjaro National Park. At midnight on day 9 of the trek you'll begin the final ascent to the summit - the toughest, but most rewarding day of the challenge.

This trek is physically demanding, but possible for most people with the right preparation. Once you have registered, you'll get a detailed training programme from our trek organisers, Charity Challenge.
