About the event

On 2 October 2022, thousands of people will be taking part in the biggest marathon ever staged in the world. You will have 24 hours to complete the marathon. Whether you choose to run, jog or walk the 26.2 miles is up to you!

If you have secured a ballot place in the virtual marathon, or are looking to secure a Mind charity place, we'd love to have you join our team. Prioritising mental health has never been more important than it is right now, and your support means we can continue to provide life-saving information.

How we'll support you

Whether you're a seasoned or first time runner, Mind will be with you every step of the way. We offer our runners a fantastic support package, and will do all we can to make your virtual London Marathon experience one you'll never forget!

When you join the team, you can expect: 

  • lots of training and fundraising advice
  • regular e-newsletters and updates
  • a virtual training day to meet some experts and the team
  • a mind vest with iron-on letters
  • a dedicated and experienced event coordinator to provide support and advice, and answer any questions you might have along the way.
