About the event

On 2 October 2022, thousands of people will be taking part in the biggest marathon ever staged in the world.

The virtual marathon gives participants of all abilities the opportunity to complete their 26.2 miles over 23 hours, 59 minutes and 59 seconds. This makes it an inclusive option for those who might not have considered taking on a marathon before.

All finishers will receive the same coveted TCS London Marathon medal and T-shirt as participants in the mass event. You'll also get audio support and route tracking on the Official App, powered by TCS.

If you've already secured a place in the virtual marathon, or are looking to secure a Mind charity place, we'd love to have you join our team. Prioritising mental health has never been more important than it is right now. Your support means we can continue to provide life-saving information and advice.

Got a place in the physical marathon?

This page is to join the virtual team only. If you have secured a ballot place in the physical event and would like to run for Mind, you can register here.
