About the event

Run for Mind in the iconic Virgin Money London Marathon and we'll be there to support you every step of the way!

Our charity applications are now closed. For those waiting for the outcome of your application, you will hear back from us by March 31st at the latest.

If you secured your own place in the ballot and would like to join the team, we'd love to have you! You can find out more below.

Please note that this is for registration to the physical marathon event only. You can join our virtual marathon team here.

Your own place in the ballot

If you are successful in the Virgin Money London Marathon public ballot and received your accepted magazine or email, got your place through a running club, or have a deferred entry, we would be delighted to have you join Team Mind.

As an own place runner you receive all the same support from our dedicated events team as those with a charity place, but there are no sponsorship targets to meet.

We are always grateful for your support and for any funds you can raise for Mind.

How we'll support you

Whether you're a seasoned or first time runner, Mind will be with you every step of the way. We offer all our runners a fantastic support package.

You can expect:

  • loads of training and fundraising advice
  • regular e-newsletters
  • training days to meet some experts and the team
  • a vest with iron-on letters.
  • enthusiastic cheering teams along the marathon route
  • a post-race reception with massages and refreshments
  • a dedicated and experienced project manager to provide support and advice.
