About the Great North Run

Join Team Mind and help make sure no one faces a mental health problem alone.

The Simplyhealth Great North Run is the world's largest half marathon, starting in Newcastle upon Tyne and finishing in South Shields.

It's a great event for everyone, whether you're after a personal best or just wanting to be part of something special.

How we'll support you

Whether you are a seasoned runner or a first-timer, Mind will be with you every step of the way. We offer all our runners a fantastic support package.

We will do all that we can to ensure that your Simplyhealth Great North Run experience is one you will never forget.
