What is 30 days of yoga in November?
Welcome to Mind's 30 days of yoga in November challenge! Yoga has huge benefits for our physical health and mental health wellbeing. It's known to help improve our strength and balance, help us relax more and even get a better night's sleep – all key ingredients to better wellbeing.
Our instructor-made daily class plan is designed to guide you on your 30-day yoga journey. You don't even have to leave the cosy confines of your home. It's totally free and you can do it wherever you want – in your living room, garden or even the cupboard under the stairs.
Your challenge perks
- A free Mind t-shirt. We'll send your swag once you've completed your registration and set up your fundraising page, so you can don the official uniform of #TeamMind.
- Instructor developed yoga guide. Use the digital yoga guide to access video links for your recommended daily practice. Or if you'd prefer to find your own flow, there's plenty of online and studio classes out there to help you do so.
- Exclusive Mind yoga kit. Raise £100 and we'll send you an exclusive Mind yoga kit with microfibre towel, sweat band, resistance band and drawstring bag.
- A way to champion mental health for everyone (especially you). Two birds, one priority – mental health. By moving more you're prioritising your own mental health as well as raising funds. It's win-win!
How to sign up for 30 days of yoga in November?
Registration is free and easy. Simply follow the steps below:
- Join the 30 days of yoga in November Facebook group.
- Fill in the registration form in the 'about' section of the group.
- Choose to set up a Facebook fundraiser or JustGiving page. Whatever works better for you.
- No Facebook account? No problem. Complete this form instead and set up your JustGiving page.
- Set up your fundraising page. You'll get your free Mind t-shirt and tracker in the post to get you started.
- Ready, set, challenge. You're good to go! The last thing left is to get started.
By joining the Facebook group, you'll become a part of an incredible community of like-minded challengers who will be there to celebrate your achievements and cheer you on. Our friendly team will also be on hand to support you, offer tips and answer any questions.
How much do I have to fundraise?
Your fundraising page will automatically set a £100 target. But there's no minimum target for this challenge, so you can choose to increase, decrease or keep it as it is.
Your impact
You want a future where having a mental health problem doesn't mean waiting lists, stigma and isolation. Where the 1 in 4 of us with a mental health problem each year can get quality support. So do we. By taking on this challenge for Mind you'll be fighting to make that happen.
