What is it?
We’re asking you to complete 1,000 push-ups this November and raise money to help power the fight for mental health!
Complete the challenge in any way and anywhere you’d like. You can set yourself a smaller target of push-ups every day, or a larger goal for each week - whatever works for you!
Sign up now and get your free push-up tracker and Mind t-shirt. And if you raise £150 we’ll also send you an exclusive Mind gym kit. It comes with a microfibre towel, sweat bands, resistance band and drawstring bag to take your push-ups to the next level.
Why fundraise for Mind?
Now more than ever, people struggling from mental health problems need our support. In the UK, 1 in 4 of us will experience a mental health problem this year. We need your help so we can be there – on the other end of the phone, in local communities and campaigning hard.
By fundraising through this challenge, every push you make will be powering the fight for mental health.
You can find loads of resources in this section to support you through your challenge.

We'll be on hand in the Facebook group to provide helpful tips and support with your fundraising efforts throughout the challenge.
Yes. The easiest way is to collect their donation offline and donate it your fundraiser yourself. Or by directing them to your JustGiving page if you choose to fundraise off Facebook.
No. Every pound you raise will go straight to Mind. All funds will help provide lifesaving information and support to anyone experiencing a mental health problem.
Each fundraising page has a default target of £150 but you're welcome to edit it to an amount you're more comfortable with.
Of course! If you wish to fundraise for your local Mind, please contact them directly and they'll let you know what fundraising events they're currently running.
10,000 steps a day in October is a fundraising challenge, and we'd ask that you please try and fundraise if taking part in the challenge. However, we recognise that times are tough for some of us right now and not everyone will be in the position to donate as much or as often. We'll be on hand to provide support and tips throughout the challenge. Every penny you raise is hugely appreciated and will go towards providing life changing support for those living with a mental health problem. If you'd like to make a one-time donation to Mind instead of fundraise you can do so here.
That’s entirely up to you. You can use our digital tracker which you can download here. This is also a great way to share your progress with your family and friends, which can help increase your fundraising.
We’d love for you to be able to smash 1,000 push-ups, but we also completely understand that sometimes life has other plans. If you can’t, then that’s ok. The important thing is that you’re still a part of raising vital funds for mental health.
Making a difference
By raising funds for Mind, you're joining our fight for better, more equal mental health services for all. Your fundraising will help us be there for anyone who needs it, when they need it, by providing support and access to the right information.
