COVID - 19 update: We understand that this is a period of uncertainty for everyone, and you might be concerned about your monthly delivery. Our team is working remotely, however, we are dispatching Pause packs on the 14th as usual. Due to the current Covid-19 situation, the delivery time may take slightly longer than expected, so if you don't receive yours by the 24th of the month please contact the team at [email protected]. We'd like to thank all Pause subscribers for their support and patience at this time.
Every year, one in four of us will experience a mental health problem.
We won't give up until everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets support and respect.
Your monthly donation will help us ensure no one has to face a mental health problem alone.
Pause is a new subscription service to help you carve out a monthly moment of me-time – a chance to put aside daily stresses and chores and to focus on your own wellbeing. Each month you'll receive a Pause box though the post containing an activity or gift designed to encourage creativity, relaxation, a new skill, or simply to offer a precious moment of calm. You can use these gifts and activities to savour a little alone time, or share experiences with friends or family. Pause is brought to you by Mind, the mental health charity. By subscribing to Pause, you're donating to supporting Mind's vital work to ensure that no one has to face a mental health problem alone.
Your subscription to Pause costs £7.50 a month, which is a donation to Mind, the mental health charity. Mind will receive 100% of your monthly donation.
By signing up to Pause, you're helping Mind provide support and advice for people experiencing mental health problems. Every year, one in four of us will experience a mental health problem, and we won't give up until everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets the support and respect they deserve. Of course! When you sign up for Pause you can enter both yours and the receiver's details on the Direct Debit form. You can include a special message and there is the option to have the first box sent to your address.
Absolutely! No matter how many boxes you are looking for we can accommodate with enough notice. Please get in touch at [email protected].
You can change how you hear from us at any time by calling 020 8215 2243 or emailing [email protected].
Direct debit payments will be taken on the 14th of each month. This will take at least 10 working days to set up.
You should receive your first box the month your first donation is due. Packs will be sent by 2nd class post around the same time as we receive your monthly payment. This means you should receive your pack the third week of each month.
Your Pause box has been designed to ensure it will fit through a standard letter box.
Pause is an ongoing subscription, and you will continue to receive packs until you cancel your donations.
At the moment we only accept Direct Debit.
If you are still waiting for your box, please get in touch at [email protected] and we will investigate.
Unfortunately we currently offer delivery in UK only.
If you would like to cancel your subscription please contact us before the 8th of each month.
Mental wellbeing describes your mental state – how you are feeling and how well you can cope with day-to-day life. Our mental wellbeing is dynamic. It can change from moment to moment, day to day, month to month or year to year. Positive wellbeing is about much more than just being happy in the moment. It means feeling confident in yourself, being able to cope with the stresses of daily life, build positive relationships and fully engage with the world around you.
Pause will encourage you to set aside some time each month to focus on your wellbeing, and enjoy being in the present moment. Your regular donations will also help make a real difference for people experiencing mental health problems. Pause is not designed to be a solution to mental health problems. For information and advice about mental health for yourself or others visit mind.org.uk or call the Mind Infoline on 0300 123 3393 (lines are open 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday.
