Thanks for your interest in reviewing a book for the membership enews. We think books can be really good for your mental health – studies have shown that just six minutes of reading can reduce your stress levels by more than two thirds.
If you enjoy relaxing with a good read, why not share one of your favourites with your fellow members? Send your review to Meg and we’ll include some of them in a special edition of the enews on Friday 31 October. Unfortunately we won’t be able to publish all of your reviews but we will include as many as we can.
A couple of things to consider before you send us your review
1. We’re looking for reviews of around 500 words
2. Please include your name, the name of your chosen book and your preferred contact details when sending us your review.
3. We won’t be able to include reviews of any books which might be triggering for other people – this means books which give graphic descriptions of methods of self-harm or suicide.
4. We might edit your review for clarity, plain English and web usability. If we edit it significantly, we’ll send it back for you to view before publishing.
