This is a great book, perfect for teenagers. I read it before giving it to my (much younger) cousin, to make sure it was suitable. Had it been around when I was a teenager I would most certainly have adored it.
It’s got a good plot, revolving around Penny and Noah and their relationship. Noah is in a successful band, and Penny joins him when he heads off on tour. The book deals with a lot of the issues that teenage girls experience; first love, jealousy and friendships and I think there’s some good advice in there. The characters are totally relatable, and well developed. It’s probably not the sort of things I would ordinarily read, but I found myself enjoying it a lot more than I thought I would – which can only mean it’s a good book!
It is a little cheesy and predictable – but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Overall I enjoyed reading it, and I’d recommend it to younger girls, and I’d imagine any Zoe Sugg fan will fall head over heels in love with it!
