The coronavirus pandemic is having a devastating impact on our mental health and its effects will echo long after the restrictions have eased. The years of progress we’ve made are at risk, and demand for our vital support services will only rise – we need to be equipped to meet it.
Your regular gift will help us provide support to everyone who needs us, when they need us. But we can’t do this on our own. Please support better mental health and you will also receive regular updates to help your own wellbeing:
3 Wellbeing packs delivered straight to your door in June, October, and January. Ideas, suggestions, and activities to help you take good care of your own wellbeing.
Mind magazines delivered in February and July, packed with inspiring stories about the work we do and people's experiences of mental health.
Mind calendar sent to you in September, the calendar features beautiful artwork from our supporters, members and service users.
Our coronavirus surveys received over 16,000 responses and found:
- one in four people of all ages who tried to access mental health support during lockdown were not able to do so;
- 72% of young people said loneliness made their mental health worse.
- Two thirds (65%) of adults and three quarters(75%) of young people with experience of mental health problems said their mental health has gotten worse during lockdown.
Your monthly donation will help us reach more people through our helplines, our online communities, support offered through local Mind services and campaigning. Help us be there – sign up for a monthly gift. For more information read our FAQs.
