West Sussex Mind – mental health support coordinator

Could you make a difference to local people? West Sussex Mind are looking for a mental health support coordinator to join the emotional wellbeing services while a member of the team is on maternity leave.

What you'll do

In this role you'll:

• Deliver recovery-focused one-to-one sessions, assessments, and risk assessments 
• Manage a caseload, working within a team based across GP surgeries
• Build a rapport with the GP surgeries across Worthing

About you

We're looking for someone with:

• Significant knowledge regarding working with people with mental health needs
• Broad knowledge, proven skills and/or training in working with service users on a one-to-one basis 
• Ability to work with service users to construct good assessments of needs for services/personal development
• A good knowledge and understanding of working in groups, group dynamics and leading groups
