In this role, you'll work as part of the Community Development Team overseeing our team of volunteers.
What you'll do
In this role you will:
- Establish an effective cross-organisational approach to our volunteer opportunities including recruitment, induction, training, support and recognition
- Be the initial point of contact for volunteers
- Manage the attraction, recruitment, induction and recognition programmes for volunteers across the organisation
- Provide support and guidance across the organisation to ensure managers are effectively supporting volunteers
About you
We're looking for someone who has:
- Experience of providing support and management to volunteers
- Skills to effectively recruit, train and retain volunteers
- The ability to enable volunteers to feel valued and rewarded for the support they provide
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to effectively work alongside stakeholders to promote a range of volunteering opportunities
- Knowledge of the barriers for people living with mental health conditions
