The Listening Space is a therapeutic space for people to come and feel listened to and supported. Listening Space peer support workers work with clients both face-to-face contact and through offering support over the phone.

What you'll do

In this role you'll:

  • Support with the set up and close down of the space
  • Work with individuals and groups
  • Work alongside your Listening Space colleagues and the wider team to support and safeguard those accessing the services

About you

We're looking for someone with:

  • Lived experience of mental ill health either through your own experience or supporting another 
  • Ability to listen and ask questions to understand others and build trust
  • Ability to offer support to others relevant to this role
  • Ability to learn, seek insight, and grow from experience
  • Ability to take personal responsibility for your own development and the development of others
