Can you offer a listening ear, support, and information to help others manage through the difficult times? The Safe Haven is based in Redditch town centre and provides emotional support to individuals who are experiencing high levels of mental health distress. Support is delivered both over the phone and face-to-face, so practitioners must have the skills and ability to switch between both methods. We also provide tailored signposting information and onwards referrals where appropriate.

In this role you'll:
- Ensure the smooth running of the Safe Haven within your shift
- Offer one-to-one confidential and emotional support as required both over the telephone and face-to-face
- Give advice and emotional support to individuals
- Offer a friendly welcome to the Safe Haven to new referrals
About you
We're looking for someone with:
- A proven track record of supporting vulnerable individuals
- Experience of supporting delivery of mental health support services
- Experience of data input
- Experience of working with a wide range of agencies
- Up to date knowledge of mental health and key issues linked to wellbeing
- Experience of working shift patterns and unsociable hours
