Richmond Borough Mind – service lead

We’re looking for someone passionate about promoting the rights of unpaid mental health carers, who could use their knowledge and experience to lead a team in delivering services to meet this need.

What you'll do

In this role you'll:

  • Lead the team of support workers including peer support
  • Deliver a wide range of support to meet carers' needs
  • Lead on reporting and evaluating the project
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with other voluntary and statutory organisations in the borough
  • Build capacity by developing our staff team and volunteers
  • Contribute to projects across Richmond Borough Mind to help with effective communication and working practices

About you

We’re looking for someone who can:

  • Be an ambassador for carers’ rights
  • Feed into and influence borough-wide strategy and service development to promote the carers agenda
  • Encourage regular involvement opportunities to ensure our service is carer-led
  • Support and coordinate a small team
  • Give regular line management in line with Richmond Borough Mind’s policies and procedures
