North Kent Mind – peer support coach
Wellbeing services are looking for a full-time peer support coach. The role's responsibilities include delivering a range of peer support and wellbeing services, predominantly in-person within community venues, to people who live in the north Kent (Dartford, Gravesend, Medway, and Swanley) area, and experience mental health issues.
What you'll do
In this role you'll:
- Embed all required outcomes and methodology into the service
- Facilitate outcome monitoring systems and input outcome data
- Participate in local community events as required by the wellbeing services manager
- Co-create a person-centred support plan with all participants
About you
We're looking for someone with:
- An understanding of the issues affecting people with mental health problems
- An awareness and understanding of how people can move forward with their lives
- A non-judgemental attitude to mental health service users
- An empowering and positive attitude to mental health service users
- Lived experience of mental health issues
