North Kent Mind – children and young persons therapist

We're delivering a Short Intervention Therapy (SIT) service to children and young people aged 8-18 (and up to 25 for children with special educational needs) in Medway.

The service will include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Creative Therapy support, using  one to one and group therapy interventions.

We're recruiting a therapist for each approach. We'd welcome therapists with children and young person experience who are looking to upskill.

We'd prefer accredited therapists but will consider applications from people currently working towards accreditation.

What you'll do

You'll:

• Offer 1-2-1 and group interventions in 6 weekly blocks
• Supply and maintain outcome data
• Maintain communication with the CYP Services Manager
• Make sure all KPIs are met 
• Remain up to date with admin requirements
• Ensure safe working practices

About you

We're looking for someone with a relevant therapeutic qualification.

You'll need to have an understanding of relevant policies, codes of practice, and legislation.
