Mind in West Essex – support team practitioner and supervisor

We're looking for a support team practitioner to work on children and young people's mental health.

What you'll do

You'll have a caseload of children and adolescents with mild to moderate emotional and mental health difficulties. You'll use evidence-based therapeutic models, and deliver low intensity, early interventions in primary schools, secondary schools, and colleges.

You'll run training for education professionals. And you'll help the team to serve the needs of the whole school community, including children and young person’s caregivers.

You'll work with children, young people and families from different cultural backgrounds, using interpreters when necessary, and should be committed to equal opportunities.

You'll also work closely with colleagues and partners in the local authority, education settings, and other relevant mental health providers.
