Mind in the City, Hackney and Waltham Forest – social media and communications assistant
We are looking for volunteers to help monitor and create social media content for Rainbow Mind, as well as helping with communications.
What you'll do
In this role you'll:
- Create social media content for Rainbow Mind services and brand
- Monitor Instagram and analytics
- Manage sharing posts for LGBTQ+ awareness days
- Engage with other organisations with similar missions to share content
- Contribute to overall communications plans
- Attend and participate in weekly communications meetings
About you
We're looking for someone with:
- Ability to design social media content in Canva
- Love and proficiency of the main social media platforms, particularly Instagram, but also LinkedIn, Facebook and TikTok
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Curiosity and motivation
- Ability to identify strategies that will help us achieve further reach and bigger followings across platforms
- Lived experience of LGBTQ+ community desirable
