Mind in the City, Hackney and Waltham Forest – honorary therapists

We're looking for honorary therapists to join our Wellbeing Network. All clients that honorary therapists see will have undergone some form of assessment. However, we'd like to give the opportunity for honorary therapists to train up and be able to carry out assessments themselves. We'll work with your individual training institutes to support your academic requirements.

What you'll do

In this role you'll:

• Manage a challenging caseload 
• See three clients in person per week
• Work over the telephone if necessary

About you

We're looking for someone who:

• Is working towards a qualification on a minimum level 5 equivalent course
• Has experience or training in delivering therapeutic work remotely
• Has lived experience of mental health and/or suicidality
• Is robust in their sense of self and flexible and adaptable in their approach to therapeutic work
• Adheres to the code of practice of their registering body
• Is professional, kind, compassionate
• Has initiative and maintains communications with their colleagues appropriately
