Mind in the City, Hackney and Waltham Forest – communities manager

We're looking for an experienced team manager with an in-depth understanding of the substance misuse sector.

What you'll do

In this role you'll:

• Work as part of the wider team to promote strengths-based practice within the hubs, opportunities for community delivery and events within the local area
• Support the Partnership Manager to establish new partnerships and opportunities for joint delivery, hosting and engagement within local communities
• Develop and deliver ongoing training to staff around Asset Based Community Development (ABCD)

About you

We're looking for someone with:

• In-depth understanding of the substance misuse sector
• Ability to respond to specific community needs to make an impact
• Understanding of service specifications and leading a team
• Ability to prioritise activities and mobilise resources in order to achieve strategic outcomes
• Experience of working in high-pressure environments
