Mind in Camden – development worker

We're looking for someone with knowledge of peer support and a range of perspectives on mental health to join our Hearing Voices Projects team.

What you'll do

In this role you'll:

  • Work with partner organisations to establish Hearing Voices peer support groups
  • Facilitate groups
  • Deliver training sessions and workshops on the Hearing Voices approach and related topics
  • Offer support to a range of people who hear voices

About you

We're looking for someone with:

  • Broad understanding of mental health issues
  • In-depth understanding of the issues faced by people who hear voices within a range of
  • Clear understanding of the principles and practice of Hearing Voices groups
  • Awareness of current issues in policy and practice in mental health
  • At least 2 years’ experience of working in mental health services or relevant services, in a paid or unpaid capacity
  • Experience of facilitating groups or networks
