Mind in Camden – community mental health recovery support worker

We’re looking for a self-motivated, empathic, and dynamic community mental health recovery support worker to join our one-to-one mental health support service.

What you'll do

In this role you'll:

  • Support clients to assess their needs and aspirations, using a person-centred, strengths-based approach
  • Support clients to understand the range of options available to them for their mental health recovery

About you

We're looking for someone with:

  • Evidence of mental health learning
  • A good awareness of different models of understanding of mental health
  • A good awareness of current issues in policy and practice in mental health
  • A good understanding of primary, secondary care and third sector mental health services
  • Thorough understanding of co-production and recovery principles
