Mind in Brent, Westminster and Wandsworth – creative arts coordinator

We're seeking a passionate and ambitious creative arts coordinator dedicated to enhancing the mental health and wellbeing of our artists. Your role will involve proactively delivering a high quality, accessible therapeutic arts programme tailored to meet the diverse needs of our community. 

What you'll do

In this role you'll:

  • Oversee to the day to day running of the project, for example ordering and maintaining art supplies, ensuring the art studio is maintained clean and tidy and dealing with general enquiries and management of new referrals
  • Take ownership and lead the growth and development of the service by networking, promoting the project, and driving increased referrals
  • Plan and facilitate regular art groups that inspire curiosity and creativity for a range of artistic styles, mediums and interests

About you

We're looking for someone with:

  • Degree qualification or equivalent in mental health, social care, nursing, occupational therapy, art therapy or a related field
  • 1 year’s relevant post-qualification experience
  • Experience working in a multi-disciplinary mental health team and providing direct support to people with complex mental health conditions
  • Experience of delivering person-centred care approaches
