Mind in Bradford – wellbeing practitioner
The wellbeing practitioner will co-facilitate psychological education groups alongside assistant psychologists. The role plays a key function in supporting clients on the waiting list for psychological therapies.
What you'll do
In this role you'll:
- Co-facilitate psychological education groups alongside assistant psychologists
- Offer support to individuals in group settings
- Have a good understanding of support services across the district
- Complete individual assessments
- Develop client-centred support plans to help individuals stay well
- Motivate and encourage clients to take steps to achieve positive change in their lives
About you
We're looking for someone with:
- Experience of working with adults in a health, social care or other relevant setting
- Good knowledge of services across the Bradford District & Craven
- Excellent communication skills and confidence in supporting people in a clear, meaningful and non-judgemental way
- Confidence in recognising and responding to risk and safeguarding concerns
- Ability to take initiative and be proactive in solutions
- Good organisational, financial and IT skills
