Mind in Bradford – service manager

Are you passionate about mental health and eager to make a significant impact in your community? Mind in Bradford is seeking a dynamic and dedicated service manager to join our team to lead and develop a number of our support services.

This is a unique opportunity to drive service improvements, support our dedicated staff and volunteers, and enhance the wellbeing of people in our community. You'll be joining a supportive, diverse and brilliant team who are all driven by the same purpose – to ensure that nobody across the Bradford District and Craven has to face a mental health issue alone.

What you'll do

In this role you'll:

  • Offer strong, effective, values-driven leadership to our teams within our early intervention and specialist support services
  • Lead a collection of our early intervention and specialist support services, taking a proactive and creative approach to service development, improvement and quality
  • Effectively manage and support the development of staff within the teams through supervisions, ensuring relevant and clear objectives, reviews and guidance
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, partners and other stakeholders to facilitate partnership and multi-agency working

About you

We're looking for someone with:

  • An understanding of current challenges those with mental health issues may face
  • Experience in leading and managing people
  • A passion for driving service improvements
  • Experience in managing risk and safeguarding, as well as working in a multi-disciplinary way
  • A solution-focused and collaborative approach
  • An ability to manage competing priorities
