Mid and North East Essex Mind – support time and recovery worker
In this role you'll guide and empower clients experiencing an emotional or mental health condition. You'll provide support with any practical concerns or difficulties that might be affecting their mental wellbeing, including housing, social isolation, education, debt management and employment problems.
What you'll do
In this role you'll:
- Manage a caseload of clients, supporting them to access appropriate services and agencies
- Conduct an initial assessment and set out an action plan with clear timescales
- Monitor clients' mental health and alerting the Service or Duty Manager of any concerns around risk
- Help clients to sustain and retain employment
- Support clients who are looking for employment to access relevant agencies and information
About you
We're looking for someone with:
- Experience and empathy
- Enthusiasm for working in a community setting
- Ability to be adaptable and work independently
- An understanding of the importance of team working
