Mid and North East Essex Mind – mental health sanctuary service coordinator

The Mid Essex Sanctuary provides support to those experiencing a mental health crisis. The service coordinator works as part of a team which offers emotional support to people who are referred to the service. Each call is different, and we give emotional support through active listening, distraction techniques and signposting.

What you'll do

In this role you'll:

• Be responsible for leading the shift
• Provide advice and guidance to the support workers
• If necessary, you'll take over the support of a client

About you

We're looking for someone with:

• Experience of supporting people living with mental health challenges
• Experience supervising a team
• Desire for a role that provides different challenges every day
