Leeds Mind – receptionist

The receptionist/central administrator will provide reception duties, administration and call handling for the organisation as well as supporting the office and facilities manager.

What you'll do

In this role you'll: 

  • Carry out reception duties to include welcoming visitors, answering incoming calls, responding to the general email inbox, booking meeting rooms, postal duties and handling incoming money
  • Support the office and facilities manager with maintaining health and safety
  • Assist with organising internal events

About you

We're looking for someone with: 

  • GSCE English and Maths (or equivalent) at grade C/4 or above
  • High level of IT skills
  • Proficiency with a wide range of Microsoft Office programmes
  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and customer care skills
  • Good level of written and spoken English
  • Ability to liaise with a wide variety of stakeholders
  • Experience of handling confidential information in an administrative setting
  • Experience of handling information that may be distressful to hear and read
