Islington Mind – finance and resources manager

We're looking for a part-time senior manager to hold lead responsibility for management of finances, the annual budget setting cycle and preparation of the charity’s statutory accounts as well as the operating framework for the charity’s resources.

What you'll do

In this role you'll:

• Be responsible for the overall management of the charity’s finances in compliance with charity legislation and financial regulation
• Contribute to the monitoring and evaluation of the impact of the services provided by Islington Mind
• Oversee the administration of the HR requirements for recruitment, new starters, contracts, and keeping the employee handbook up to date
• Offer leadership, guidance and good supervision and support to the finance administration team

About you

We're looking for someone with:

• Competence in commonly used financial management software and other applications
• Financial, HR and resource management experience in a comparable setting
• Knowledge of the regulatory frameworks for financial management in the UK
• Experience of contributing to reporting to funders and commissioners of services
• Knowledge of employment law
