Islington Mind – communications and campaigns volunteer

We're looking for enthusiastic and proactive volunteers to be part of Islington Mind's LGBTQIA+ community-led project. You'll support LGBTQ+ people, including LGBTQ+ asylum seekers, with their mental health. You'll support the team in developing campaigns, outreach, and influence programmes.

What you'll do

You'll:

• Work closely with the team leader to develop the project’s campaigning programme

• Maintain the programme's social media presence 

• Develop the outreach programme 

About you

You'll need to commit to at least 6 months volunteering, 1 day a week on Tuesdays. We're looking for volunteers who identify as LGBTIQ+. If you've worked in this area before, that's great! But the main thing we're looking for is enthusiasm.
