Derbyshire Mind – bank support worker
The purpose of this volunteer role is to facilitate the smooth running of Derbyshire Mind's crisis support drop-in service by presenting a warm, friendly and non-judgemental presence.
What you'll do
In this role you'll:
- Ensure the smooth running of the service by assisting with day-to-day tasks
- Welcome attendees, offer emotional support and promote recovery and wellbeing through active listening
- Signpost individuals to relevant community services
- Maintaining confidentiality and professional boundaries
- Report safeguarding concerns
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions
