In this role you'll offer practical and emotional, person-centred support that works towards empowerment and recovery. Your work will value equality and diversity and be proactively targeted to achieve levels of independence appropriate for each resident.

What you'll do

In this role you'll:

  • Support residents in managing self-medication programmes
  • Work as part of a team to ensure the safety of the clients and staff are maintained at all times
  • Be aware of local safeguarding policies and procedures and report any concerns immediately
  • Carry out a range of duties which ensure the wellbeing of all residents and that an effective, outcome-defined delivery of support is achieved
  • Act as a key worker for a small number of clients to ensure that physical, psychological, emotional, social, educational, aspirational and spiritual needs are met and maintained

About you

We're looking for someone with:

  • Experience of working in care/support
  • Proven track record of supporting people with mental health problems
  • Experience of working with a wide range of agencies
