Coventry and Warwickshire Mind - mental health practitioner

Coventry and Warwickshire Mind are looking for a mental health practitioner to support children and young people across the county.

What you'll do

In this role you'll:

  • Be involved in the delivery of a range of early intervention and prevention activities for children and young people aged 5-18
  • Work in schools, community venues and Mind buildings across Coventry and Warwickshire
  • Run activities including therapeutic groups, mental health awareness sessions, assemblies, resilience workshops and one-to-one facilitated self-help provision

About you

We're looking for someone with:

  • Experience of working with children and young people and their families
  • An ability to effectively engage with young people and their families
  • Up to date knowledge of mental health, specifically in relation to children and young people
  • NVQ level 2 or equivalent
