Bromley, Lewisham and Greenwich Mind – connecting communities coordinator

As connecting communities coordinator, you'll give information and guidance to clients with mental health problems.

You'll help people to connect with services in Bromley, Lewisham and Greenwich Mind and the wider Greenwich borough.

As well as managing a caseload, you'll nurture relationships with key partners and build new partnerships. This will help the service to grow with the need of its clients.

Working with the database manager, you'll identify key themes about our clients, to identify areas for service development.

We're committed to creating diverse and inclusive services, and an important part of your role will be to make the service more accessible and welcoming to underserved communities.

You'll also promote signposting, information and guidance amongst the team in Greenwich. You'll arrange visits from local services to talk about what they offer, and create signposting leaflets for staff. To help you do this, we'll support you to recruit a small team of volunteers.

The ideal person will have experience with:

  • Supporting people with mental health problems, disabled people, or people with health needs
  • Using a database and computer literacy
  • Working with health and social care professionals
  • Managing risk or safeguarding
