We’re looking for a passionate lead for our flagship ‘Life Support’ campaign. Based in Mind’s Policy and Campaigns team, you will take forward this work by developing a detailed policy understanding of the network of community-based support that helps people with mental health problems to stay well.
You will also develop, deliver and evaluate a key new strand of our policy and campaigns work on mental health and housing. You’ll need to demonstrate a strong apt for policy development and an ability to make decisions and set the direction of your work.
You will work closely with staff across the organisation, including our local Mind network, and be able to influence decision makers from Government to local Authorities.
You’ll have experience of working in a similar role and a good understanding of local and national decision making processes as well as health and disability policy. You will also share a strong commitment to Mind’s mission and values.
