Indie band Daughter launches exclusive t-shirt in aid of Mind

Mind has teamed up with indie band Daughter on an exciting project that will help festival goers achieve summer chic while raising funds for their favourite charity. The band has designed an exclusive T-shirt and all money raised through sales will be donated to Mind, to help support the one in four people who experience mental health problems every year.

Daughter’s t-shirt is inspired by their songs, depicting the feeling and sounds of being underwater. The result, an indigo 100% cotton tee featuring an ethereal design, undoubtedly makes for a must have summer staple.

Daughter, comprises the beautiful voice of Elena Tonra, her partner Igor Haefeli and Remi Aguilella.  Having only played together for 18 months, the band has established itself on the global music scene and will feature heavily on 2012 festival line-ups. From Latitude festival to Bestival, their “fluttering, heart-on-the-sleeve acoustic ballads” (Vogue) and brooding melodies will get a thorough airing across the summer season.

The t-shirt is on sale now, through The Yellow Bird Project – a not-for-profit online organisation, established as an outlet for established high-profile bands to raise money for their chosen charities
