Mind Cymru elephant takes care of health and safety

The Elephant in the Room recently visited the TUC Wales Health and Safety reps conference in Cardiff highlighting Mind's ‘Taking care of business’ campaign and the need to improve mental health in the workplace.

Workshops that included 'tasters' of Mental Health First Aid and Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) proved extremely popular with the 100+ delegates, with lots of excellent discussion and requests for follow up information.

The messages from the ‘Taking care of business’ campaign were well received and the Elephant even had a starring role on the platform with the speakers!  Mind Cymru and the Elephant look forward to continuing our very positive relationship with TUC Wales in 2012.
