I Know You Know - exclusive preview

Posted Thursday 1 April 2010

I Know You Know, starring Robert Carlyle, has been hailed in Total Film magazine as "a triumph of low-budget movie-making".

An autobiographical story by director Justin Kerrigan (who made the critically acclaimed Human Traffic), it focuses on Justin's life growing up in Wales with his dad.

It's been a real labor of love for Justin, taking eight years to bring to the big screen. He decided to make the movie just after his father's death and found it very difficult to film such a personal story while also being under immense pressure to follow the success of his first film.

As a result he experienced a breakdown in his own mental health and he is now very keen to speak out about this experience as well as supporting Mind.

I Know You Know will be screened in aid of Mind and The Big Issue on Wednesday 7 April at 6.15pm at the Apollo Cinema, Piccadilly Circus.

The evening includes a Q&A with the director and producer of the film and a chance to mingle with a free drink before the screening.

Tickets are £10 and are available from the Box Office on 0871 220 6000, when booking your ticket please specify that you have been invited by Mind. You can also book online.
