Mind and MDF The Bipolar Organisation have worked closely with the EastEnders production team on the storyline of character Stacey Branning's bipolar disorder.
Stacey is now pregnant, and has been continuing to take her medication. It's worth noting, however, that women are sometimes advised to stop lithium and other mood stabilisers used to treat bipolar disorder during pregnancy.
