Mind charity shops

You can find our shops in more than 130 communities around England and Wales, selling high quality donated goods like clothing, books and home wares.

Our shops sell goods mostly donated by you, and we rely on your generosity to fund the important work we do.

The money raised by our shops goes directly to support people in your local community with mental health problems.

The rest of the money funds our campaigning work such as fighting the stigma experienced by people with mental health problems.

Volunteer at your local shop

A fixture on our high streets since 1961, Mind shops are supported by a dedicated band of volunteers.

Over 1,700 volunteers give up some of their spare time every week to help with all the jobs that need to be done in our shops such as sorting goods, steaming and pricing clothing and making sales.
