Bromley Mind works to enhance and enrich the quality of life of people with a wide range of mental health needs, including dementia.
Mental Health Services - The highly regarded Community Wellbeing Services include individual person-centred and social inclusion support, a programme of courses and support groups and informal peer support opportunities. The Peace Outreach Service supports women with dependent children.
People struggling with depression and anxiety can access psychological and employment support to cope better with their difficulties through ‘Bromley Working for Wellbeing’. (Bromley's Improving Access to Psychological Therapies Service)
Dementia Services (delivered under the name MindCare) in the Borough of Bromley include Dementia Support Centres, Domiciliary and Respite Care in the home and training for carers. MindCare’s Dementia Information and Support Service is available in the London Borough of Lewisham.
