Barry Watts, Ecominds Grants Manager, presents a key to Howard Jones, Director of Human Networks at the Eden Project for the Eden Project's 'The Key' garden at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show. The Key aims to increase awareness of homeless people and the causes of their exclusion. The garden is, in itself, a programme for inclusion, skills development and positive change.
Ecominds funded project 'A Load of old Rubbish' are getting close to seeing the culmination of all their hard work at the RHS Tatton Park Flower Show from 22 to 26 July.
The first annual Ecominds networking event was held at the Mile End Ecology Pavilion in London on 18 November 2009. It was a hugely successful day with 35 attendees from 15 funded projects getting involved in speed networking, discussion groups, workshops, and listening to talks from inspirational projects and the Ecominds evaluators. It was also a chance to meet the Ecominds team, members of the Grants Panel, Mind, and external assessors, as well as meet likeminded project representatives.
