In September 2010 Ashley Bourne from Harpendon, Hertfordshire completed a Kilimanjaro Challenge.
The trek itself was 7 days long and he successfully reached Mount Kilimanjaro’s highest point Uhuru Peak.
He chose to support Mind because of the help he and his family received after the loss of his Dad.
He raised an incredible £3,400 and said that overall the trip was fantastic and would recommend it to anyone.
Samuel Laidler raised £153 for Mind.
He did it by making home made chocolate truffles and then selling them to his friends at work.
He even managed to secure some free cooking materials by writing to the Sainsbury's store manager stating the charity he had chosen to support and explaining what he planned to do - fantastic!
