Art in Mind
On April 21 and 22, The Maynard School in Exeter held 'Art in Mind', its third exhibition of work by over 120 contemporary, national and international artists.
All the work, which included pottery and drawings, scupture, ceramics, textiles and photography, was for sale and 50% of the commission was donated to Mind's creative therapies fund.
The fund was launched in 2012 by Mind Ambassador and internationally renowned artist, Stuart Semple, to make more creative projects available to people with mental health problems.
Members of the public, as well as other artists, came from all corners of the UK to view the exhibition.
I haven't been to such a good exhibition for years!
This was one comment received by Alan Cotton, a distinguished landscape painter who has work on collections in Europe and North America, including The Royal Collection.
