Men and mental health: Get it off your chest

men and mental health reportMind's report shows that men’s help-seeking behaviour is different from women’s, with men being less likely to seek help for both emotional
and physical problems.

When men do seek help, they are less likely to discuss emotional problems and tend to focus on physical issues instead. In a survey of GPs, respondents felt that one in five men came into their surgery with either emotional or physical symptoms much later than they should have done.
