Mind Cymru manifesto briefing 4: equalities and mental health

Recent research into discrimination in Wales conducted by the Equality and Human Rights Commission Wales (EHRC) identified people with mental health problems as one of the four groups of people most likely to face ‘persistent negative attitudes’.

In this campaign briefing, Mind Cymru calls on all political parties and the next Welsh Assembly Government to:

• Use the momentum of the new Equality Act to ensure that everyone has access to the mental health support and services that they need, with particular focus on marginalised communities.
