- senior level buy-in to the importance of staff wellbeing
- appointing a health and safety adviser
- provision of information to partners and contractors
- flexible working opportunities
- external occupational health support (including counselling and rehabilitation)
- a cash plan for certain health treatments
- personal development opportunities
- stress training
- staff forums.
As a result of these measures, average absence per employee has reduced by over 18 per cent.
