Parliament

How we work with Parliament

Mind works to influence policy on mental health in many diverse ways. One way in which we do this is by meeting and briefing MPs in order to explain how the laws they make will impact on people experiencing mental distress in England and Wales.

On these pages you can see what issues Mind is currently focussing on its engagement with Parliament, and read about the latest political developments which may affect people with experience of mental distress.

You can also use this page to contact your MP, or follow the link below to join Mind in Action – our campaigning network. Mind as a charity is politically neutral and we conduct all of our parliamentary activity in accordance with regulations set out in the Charity Commission’s guidance, 'Speaking Out'.
